The vending machine also known as coin-operated machine is an automated machine used to dispense a diverse range of products-snacks, chocolates, beverages, water bottles, tickets, etc., to the user. The product that the vending machine dispenses will be based on the amount of money that you are inserting in the vending machine and the selection of the product.

INTRODUCTION TO VENDING MACHINE

The vending machine was first invented in Ancient Greek in 215 BC. It was discovered by the Mathematician hero of Alexandria. The concept behind the invention of this vending machine is to dispense the holy water to the people, who feed the machine. Later, in the year 1615, in the UK, the tobacco vending machine was invented and it was portable.

The first modern vending machine was invented in the early 1880s in London and the mastermind behind the idea of this modern vending machine is Percival Everitt. It was designed to dispense postcards at the post office. Later, they added envelopes and notepapers and used them at the railway stations too.

In 1888, the US invented its first-ever vending machine. Thomas Adams Gums was the one who invented this vending machine in the US. This vending machine was used to sell the fruity gums which were manufactured by the company of Thomas Adams Gums. The idea of selling gums in the vending machines lured people to buy gums.

Now the evolution of vending machines has disseminated all over the world. It becomes a part of this business world.  And it also helps in many ways to save our time and energy and ease the work.

  1. COFFEE VENDING MACHINE

Coffee vending machines are usually located in any physical stores, railway stations, subways, etc.  It dispenses the canned coffee that is placed inside the vending machine.

  1. PIZZA VENDING MACHINE

          Pizza vending machines are mostly located in the shops in accordance with their respective brand. Since it is an easy way to collect the pizza than being delivered or standing in the queue inside the shop, people mostly prefer the Pizza vending machine.

  1. FOOD AND BEVERAGES VENDING MACHINE

Food and beverages vending machines are located in the physical store, shopping malls, railway stations, etc. It is one of the easiest methods to get your food and beverages. The food would be stored in a container with respect to its compositions and the beverages are mostly canned and bottled.

  1. SNACK VENDING MACHINE

         Snack vending machine mostly contains packed chips, cakes, cookies or pastries.

  1. CANDY AND SODA VENDING MACHINE

         The vending machine would be stored with chocolates, candies, gums and sodas. It will be mostly seen in the physical stores and subways.

  1. TOILETRIES AND HOSPITAL SUPPLIES

        This type of vending machine contains hospital supplies like first aid kits- bandages, cotton, sanitizer, etc.,  and sanitary napkins for women, nappies for children. This is one of the most important and need vending machines in case of an emergency.
